PROJECT SUMMARY
Dear Sister is a short film directed by Nkanyiso Ncube, and produced by Debbie Matthee in January 2010. Media Village received funds from Lotto to produce a short film on human trafficking.
Dear Sister tells the story of a brother and sister who fend for each other, while facing the on-going challenge of poverty. It seems as though their luck has turned when Tshego gets the opportunity to work in the city of Cape Town. Unfortunately all is not what it seems.
Media Village Production shot on location in Kayamnandi.
Dear Sister is being offered to NGOs and civic organizations to brand and to use in clinics and communities. The goal is to highlight the ongoing issue of human trafficking right in our own backyard.
Script: Debbie Matthee. Camera: Butho Ncube, Off line editor: Kenny Wong . Post Audio: Jeff Waggenor. Music: Daniel Matthee
