NEW SCHOOL, NEW CURRICULUM
Once you have completed SVP #281 or another school (and yes, you’ll need the school leader’s approval for this) you can move up the production ladder and begin to tell stories in a variety of formats. Jesus loved telling stories, in fact there is no doubt that storytelling was His favorite method of teaching. This course will allow you to discover the joy of seeing your words, direction, shots and editing come to life on the big (and the small) screen. Understanding the value of good storytelling techniques in today's technologically focused age will allow you to produce work that extends beyond “eye candy” and changes lives. From music videos and new media to short films and documentaries; this course will enhance your skills. What may have seemed difficult in SVP 01 will form the basis of SVP 02. Get ready to take your editing, camera and directing skills to new level.

Purpose

- To build on the grounding of SVP 1 and give opportunities for the production of a variety of formats
- To enhance the understanding of media as a prophet to the nations and its role in nation transformation
- To provide practical experience in the production of music videos, short stories and documentaries
- To enhance writing skills for a variety of formats
- To create a portfolio of work that could be used for the basis of a career in mass media.

THIS IS A NEW SCHOOL AND NEW CURRICULUM - FIRST TIME EVER
These 12 weeks are practiacel and the training is relevant to INDUSTRY STANDARD. There is a CONCEPTUAL focus and the EXPECATIONS are high.
