Welcome to Cape Town! This city is considered to be one of the most beautiful in all of Africa. There is a wonderful mixture of various cultures. Our history has in its roots the Indonesian, French, Dutch, British, and German settlers, as well as the local Khoisan tribes and the various African tribes who moved south.

Table Mountain stands as reminder of our great heritage and the southeaster or "Cape Doctor" is responsible for the "tablecloth" that gently covers the mountain in the late afternoon.

You will hear up to eleven official languages spoken, but most general communication is in English.

Cape Town is a harbour city and our Waterfront is a must for any traveller. Magnificent beaches on three sides also surround the city, with a mountain at its centre coupled with a unique ecosystem of rare plant species.
