Health

Students are responsible for direct payment to the doctor. There is a fully equipped private clinic (Medicross Clinic) in Tokai, a suburb 10 km away from the base. Private hospitals and clinics in South Africa are first world standard. We request you to take a medical insurance policy before travelling.

Security

Living in community always has certain amount of risk involved. We encourage you to be very careful with your personal goods and jewellery. Each student is personally responsible for his or her own belongings. While Media Village makes every effort to protect your valuables, we cannot be held accountable if anything goes missing. We do encourage our students to take some form of personal Insurance when purchasing their ticket to South Africa.
